Hello Indonesian backpackers! How are you today? Do you still like traveling around the world? We meet again with a review of beautiful and interesting tourist attractions in Indonesia and the world to visit. This holiday article will discuss the beauty of tourist attractions on Mount Ungaran in the Semarang area. If you are on vacation to tourist attractions in Semarang, don’t forget to stop by Mount Ungaran. There are several tourist attractions in Semarang that are fantastic for you lovers of natural attractions.

Semarang is the capital of the province of Central Java. Semarang tourism is growing very rapidly thanks to the cultural diversity possessed by local residents and residents as a result of assimilation. We can find Javanese, Chinese, Malay, and Arabic cultures in one tourist location. The tourism potential of Semarang is growing rapidly as the number of Wali Songo pilgrimage tourism routes increases from the direction of Tuban, Kudus, Demak, and the other way around.

To reach the mountainous region of Ungaran is actually not difficult. From the direction of the city of Semarang, this vacation trip to this tourist spot in Central Java is heading south. I still remember that the tour bus that I was traveling in split several kilometers of steep and barren hills as part of Mount Ungaran. The transportation route to the top of Mount Ungaran is very steep like a vacation to Mount Muria. Tourists can only pray that the driver will be careful in controlling the bus.

Ungaran City actually has several important tourist attractions and is visited by many backpackers. The beautiful tourist attractions in Ungaran include: Gedong Songo Temple, the tomb of Sheikh Hasan Munadi, Kalimah Tayyibah Spring, Rawapening Reservoir, natural exploration of Mount Merbabu, and others. However, in this article, I will share the story of a vacation to Sendang Kalimah Tayyibah and the tomb of Sheikh Hasan Munadi only. How exciting is your vacation to Ungaran this time? Come see my traveling story below.

Seeking Fortune’s Grave of Sheikh Hasan Munadi

Before heading to tourist attractions in Ungaran, every tourist bus that goes to Mount Ungaran will be parked in a village field. I don’t know what the name of the village is I forget. After getting off the bus, the group of tourists will rent an elf car at a rate of IDR 5,000 per person. The tariff was valid when I came there in December 2011. One car can fit up to 20 people. If you want to rent it privately, you can but the rate will be more expensive. After that, this vacation in Semarang continued to ride the elf to go through the winding mountain paths.

The first tourist spot in Ungaran that is usually visited by tourists is the tomb of Sheikh Hasan Munadi in the village of Nyatnyono. The location of the tomb is on one of the hills on the slopes of Mount Ungaran. From the elf’s car park, tourists have to walk up the steps to get to the top of the tomb. There are two parts of the tomb, namely the reception hall at the bottom, and the cupola of Sheikh Hasan Munadi’s tomb at the higher part.

Then, who is Sheikh Hasan Munadi? According to the custodian of the tomb, Sheikh Hasan Munadi was one of the top officials from the Demak Kingdom during the reign of Raden Patah. After years of serving the Kingdom of Demak, Sheikh Hasan Munadi decided to get away from war and spread Islam in the Mount Ungaran area by building a mosque.

A unique incident that I experienced at the tomb of Sheikh Hasan Munadi was the sale of souvenirs in the form of perfume. But this is not just any perfume. According to the caretaker, perfume from the village of Nyatnyono is useful for educating children, curing various diseases, producing compassion, and most importantly, if this oil is applied to the male genitals, it can increase the strength of men. Hehehe. Male tourists scramble to buy.

Kalimah Tayyibah . Spring Baths

When I arrived at the tomb of Sheikh Hasan Munadi, it was already evening. If I’m not mistaken around 16.00 WIB. At that hour, the weather on the island of Java is still hot. So the next tourist destination in Ungaran is to Sendang Kalimah Tayyibah. Sendang is the name for a bathing pool in Javanese. Springs are generally built by utilizing natural springs. While Kalimah Tayyibah means a sentence that is forgiving, efficacious and efficient.

The trip to Sendang Kalimah Tayyibah was done by riding the elf we had rented earlier. So, one car rental will take us back and forth to two tourist destinations at once. The road to the spring is actually not too far away but winding. Tired too if you want to walk. Arriving at the parking lot of the natural bath, every tourist is not allowed to bathe with a naked body. Therefore, they are advised to rent a sarong as a wet bath cover. The rental price for a sarong is IDR 2,000 per sarong per person.

Natural source water in Sendang Kalimah Tayyibah is believed to be able to cure various diseases suffered by humans. Therefore, before taking a bath using spring water, tourists who visit this tourist spot in Semarang must say the shahada, pray and surah al-fatihah. I just follow the rules. What’s wrong with me reading the prayer before taking a bath, I’m a Muslim. Being a tourist must comply with local community regulations if you want to be safe and secure.

The bathing area of Sendang Kalimah Toyyibah is divided into two areas, namely men and women. If you are on vacation to a tourist attraction in Ungaran, be careful not to enter the wrong one. The masses might be crushed. Hehehe. His name is also natural source water, it feels very cold touching the skin. Tired and tired all day traveling by bus seemed to disappear immediately after bathing under the pouring water of Sendang Kalimah Tayyibah. Some tourists even bring home the source water by putting it in plastic jerry cans that can be purchased at the bathing area.

That’s a little story that I can share when on vacation to tourist attractions in Semarang, especially at Sendang Kalimah Toyyibah on Mount Ungaran. Next time I will continue the story of my vacation in Central Java by visiting Pekalongan, a city west of Semarang.
